The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko instructed the special services to give information to the public about the Belarusians from the “Kalinovsky regiment” fighting on the side of Ukraine.

During a speech at a solemn meeting on the occasion of Independence Day, the President of Belarus said that in Ukraine there was a “Kalinovsky battalion”, in which including “fugitives” Belarusians.

“We came under fire from Russian artillery. We looked: no, we did not want this, we are preparing to return and overthrow the regime here. Came under fire, the battle began. And "chill". Together with the Ukrainians. There are several dozen of our fugitives [Belarusians] and Ukrainians there. Twenty people from our Kalinovsky regiment remained there, & mdash; he said.

Lukashenko stressed that these are not just opponents, but “enemies of Belarus” who went to defend Ukraine and prepare to fight in their country.

“But we know who sent them there. Why don't Tikhushki, Lokhushki and others, speaking from screens today, say that they threw people into the fire, promising to pay them well, and these twenty people died? Who will answer to their parents? Rhetorical question, — added the Belarusian leader.

He assured that not a single soldier of Belarus is fighting on the territory of Ukraine. The President of the Republic once again pointed out that Belarus would fight in the only case— when invading its territory.

Lukashenko also said that earlier they tried to strike at military targets of Belarus from the territory of Ukraine, but the Pantsir anti-aircraft complexes managed to intercept all missiles.

Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24th. The Russian authorities called its goals the demilitarization and denazification of the country and the protection of the population of Donbass from “genocide” Kyiv authorities.
