Russian nuclear submarines conducted missile firing in the Barents Sea
In the Northern Fleet, the crews of nuclear submarines successfully fired cruise missiles at a mock enemy. This was reported by the press service of the Northern Fleet.
Missile launches took place in the Barents Sea. They were attended by underwater cruisers & laquo; Severodvinsk & raquo; and & laquo; Smolensk & raquo;. The crews of these submarines worked out the simultaneous destruction of cruise missiles of different types.
“A difficult target position, simulating a detachment of landing ships of a mock enemy, was successfully hit by Caliber cruise missiles.” and & laquo; granite & raquo; at a distance of about 200 kilometers,” the message says.
According to the fleet, the Kola Flotilla ships closed the missile firing area for civilian navigation and aviation.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the application of impact with a rocket & laquo; onyx & raquo; at the Ukrainian airfield Artsyz in the Odessa region, as a result of which it was possible to destroy the Bayraktar UAV control station; and two such drones.
