Senator Aleksey Pushkov said on social networks that Poland's statements about the uselessness of gas from Russia are contradicted by Warsaw receiving Russian “blue fuel” on the reverse from Germany.

Let's remind that the company “Gazprom” from April 27 suspended gas exports to Poland and Bulgaria due to non-payment of contracts. Later, the company noted that Warsaw continued to buy gas from Russia by reverse from Germany.

According to the senator, after the refusal, Poland ordered the same volumes of gas from Germany that it received from Russia.

“Despite this, the representatives of Warsaw do not cease to assert that they do not need Russian “blue fuel”. Whom are they trying to deceive?” Pushkov said.

He clarified that in the current situation, Germany really needs gas from Russia, because otherwise it may not be enough to reverse to Warsaw.
