Russian air defense shot down a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter jet near the village of Platonovka in the Lugansk People's Republic, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
“Russian air defense systems shot down a Su-27 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near the settlement of Platonovka in the Luhansk People's Republic,” reported in the ministry.

As a result of the strikes, up to 310 Ukrainian army personnel, 27 units of weapons and military equipment, as well as the Ukrainian Osa-AKM air defense system were destroyed, the ministry said.

High-precision missiles of the Aerospace Forces hit 31 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment in Ukraine and an ammunition depot, and rocket troops and artillery— 22 command posts, 207 strongholds, areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, as well as three ammunition depots, the report says.
In total, since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, 152 aircraft, 112 helicopters, 749 drones, 291 air defense systems, more than 2.8 thousand tanks and other armored vehicles, 331 multiple rocket launchers, more than 1.3 thousand field artillery pieces and mortars have been destroyed, as well as almost 2.7 thousand units of special vehicles, the Ministry of Defense reported.
