The Ministry of Education and Science has prepared a draft on the minimum USE scores in 2023
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has published a draft order on the minimum USE scores required for admission to universities in the 2023/2024 academic year. The corresponding document is posted for public discussion on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
For social science, the minimum USE score is proposed to be set at 45 points, for computer science and information and communication technologies — 44 points, for the Russian language, literature and geography — 40 points, for mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry — 39 points, for the story — 35 points, for a foreign language — 30 points.
Recall that this year the number of state-funded places in universities was increased by 38 thousand and reached 580.4 thousand places. This year, almost 64.5% of graduates will have the opportunity to enter the state budget.
Earlier it was reported that computer science this year was in third place in popularity among the additional subjects of the Unified State Examination, overtaking physics for the first time.
